Upon entering Neely’s Bar, nestled at the junction of Sanders and Neely Streets, you’ll encounter a dimly lit atmosphere that echoes the vibrant past this location once enjoyed. This serves as a save spot in the Silent Hill 2 remake, but there’s more at play—a perplexing puzzle alongside the old jukebox!
Within Neely’s Bar, a covered jukebox awaits, its functionalities disrupted, accompanied by a fragmented vinyl. Your mission is to locate the other part and restore the jukebox to its former glory.
Required Jukebox Components
Head to the bar counter where you’ll discover a note containing two hints regarding essential components—a jukebox button and the missing vinyl half.
Check your map to find two newly marked locations: ‘Residential Complex on South Street’ and ‘Groovy Music’.
Now you’re equipped with a plan!
Locating the Jukebox Button
Proceed to South Street, seeking out a door labeled with the number 16.
Behind bars, a note indicates the keys for apartment 5 are tucked away in a locker. Retrieve them and head to the hallway.
Your next destination is apartment 9, located on the third floor. With the stairs out of commission, you’ll need to access it through apartment 5.
Use your newly acquired keys to enter apartment 5, then navigate through the crack in the wall to access the outside stairwell. Leap into the window of apartment 9.
Once inside, make your way to the bathroom where the elusive button can be found hidden within a hole in the wall.
Finding the Missing Record Half
Your next destination is the record shop known as “Groovy Music”.
On the counter, a note reveals that the second half of the broken record is located within the store.
You’ll need to smash through a glass partition across from the records to access a hidden room where the other half of the vinyl and some glue await.
It’s time to combine the two halves of the record using the glue you collected.
Activating the Jukebox
Locate a Token for Neely’s Bar
In order for the jukebox to operate, you need to insert a token. If you haven’t already found one, search around the bar for it.
Fixing the Jukebox Mechanism
Before you can place the record in the machine, it needs to be repaired. Rotate the record holder, then lower the blue lever. Return the holder to its initial position before pressing the lever to reveal a vinyl stand. Position the record there.
Initiating the Record
To commence playback, press the ‘C’ button followed by ‘2’, and then slide the token you collected into the slot.
Congratulations! The jukebox will begin playing, triggering a cutscene filled with cherished memories. You will then receive the key to the door at Neely’s.

Silent Hill 2 Remake is an upcoming survival horror game developed by Bloober Team and published by Konami. It is set to launch on PlayStation 5 and Windows on October 8, 2024.
