How to Obtain the Windfall Key

Upon completing this quest, you’ll be directed to the Skethermoor zone to find a secure B. A.R. D.safe room that contains extremely classified information.

However, a clue shines through on the Skethermoor map; you should look for a suspected location to the right of the Wyndham entrance. This particular location houses the B. A.R. D.bunker filled with the hidden secrets. You’ll recognize the bunker by its distinctive drainage system and the ‘Access 13′ label on the entrance. The coordinates for this bunker are 38.1E, 77.4N.
Upon entering the bunker, now renamed the Protocol Workshop, your real challenges start. Despite earning Captain Sims’ favor, Protocol troops within secure bunkers will still likely engage any intruder, including sympathizers of Sims. Prepare for combat as you may encounter at least a dozen adversaries, so arm yourself adequately.
To find the room that contains your quest item, proceed straight and take a right turn into the restroom area. Continue forward until you reach a row of toilets, then look to your right and navigate through the narrow crawl space.
Inside the crawl space, you will find a sanctuary away from enemies, providing a perfect opportunity to heal and save your game. Continue onward to discover the body of an individual named ‘Windfall’.
This deceased figure carries the Windfall keycard, alongside a note detailing a classified Windfall Shipment that you will need to access in the next phase to claim your esteemed reward.
Locating the Windfall Shipment and Signal Redirector
Once you have the keycard, the map will highlight the next location. This site is surrounded by a robust presence of Protocol soldiers stationed at several outposts. You will need to maneuver through a blockade with old vehicles and dodge any hidden landmines beyond the gates. If you’ve successfully gained Captain Sims’ trust, traversing Protocol camps should pose no threat; otherwise, expect hostile engagement.The bunker is located next to a lone farm encircled by fencing. The exact coordinates for this location are 41.3E, 74.9N.
Keep in mind that being spotted as you enter the bunker may trigger a fight, so exercise caution around Protocol patrols loitering in the vicinity. With careful maneuvering, you can often stealthily slip into the bunker unnoticed.
In contrast to the previous bunker, this one offers a more straightforward opportunity to collect what you need without engaging in combat. Upon entering, take the first door to your left.
Ensure the door is closed behind you in this room, as no enemies reside here. The Windfall Shipment crate can be found along the wall at the far end. Utilize the Windfall Keycard on the crate to unveil incredible loot. Additionally, remember to collect the three Training Stimulants located on the shelf behind the crate.
The Signal Redirector is an essential quest item that opens up multiple pathways in the Interchange.
