Rockstar Games has once again caused a stir by reintroducing Peyote Plants to GTA Online. As a result, players can now return to their original starting points, indulge in a snack, and transform into various animals.
Despite being nine years old, GTA Online remains a vast virtual world where players have the freedom to do almost anything, as long as it adheres to the game’s restrictions.
While activities such as robbing the casino, participating in races, and completing business deliveries are relatively realistic, Rockstar Games also likes to incorporate bizarre and amusing elements that will keep players entertained for hours.
Peyote Plants in GTA 5
These plants are found throughout Los Santos and the surrounding areas of the GTA 5 map. When a player stands near one, they can consume it and experience a transformation in their character, taking on the form of an animal.
There is a simple process for this task – you do not need to complete any specific tasks for Lester or have a specific rank on your Rockstar account. All you need to do is locate a Peyote Plant and you will be instantly transformed into a random animal found in GTA V.
GTA Online Peyote Plants Locations
Despite not being limited to one specific area on the map, the Peyote Plants are scattered throughout the entire map. They can be easily stumbled upon while casually driving around.
The below map, provided by GTAWeb, allows you to easily locate all of the Peyote Plants in GTA Online. Simply head towards one of the markers and your controller will vibrate as you get closer to a plant.
When you come across one, you will feel the strong vibrations and see a small green circle on the ground, adorned with white and yellow flowers.
After consuming the plants, you will transform into an animal until the animal is killed. Once this happens, you will revert back to your original form.
Peyote Plants can be found underwater and on land in GTA Online.

During this round, your transformations will be limited to water-based animals, such as sharks, stingrays, and whales, allowing you to quickly master these forms.
