Logan Paul has announced that the lawsuit alleging Prime Hydration contained dangerous “forever chemicals” has been dismissed.
In early 2024, rumors emerged across social media asserting that Prime Hydration had unsafe levels of “forever chemicals” following an update concerning a lawsuit filed in 2023.
Logan quickly refuted these claims in a social media video, stating that the “small study conducted by a lawyer is absolute nonsense.”
“They’re claiming that Prime has 0.06 parts per trillion, but the EPA indicates that anything under 1.1 is undetectable,” he explained.
He also criticized a TikTok creator for disseminating “misinformation” regarding the brand in connection with the ongoing lawsuit, even threatening legal action against him.
During an episode of his Impaulsive podcast on October 2 with KSI and MrBeast, Logan revealed that the lawsuit had been dismissed after over a year of legal disputes.
“The lawsuit got dismissed,” he stated. “The plaintiff had the chance to amend it, but she opted not to. She’s returning with one very weak claim that will likely also be dismissed.”
“This is just an instance of individuals reaching for a quick buck with a frivolous lawsuit that has no merit or basis,” he added.
This is not the only lawsuit Logan mentioned that has been dismissed. In May 2024, Prime faced a class action lawsuit alleging that its energy drinks contained more than the advertised 200mg of caffeine.
“Along with the dismissal of the forever chemicals lawsuit, the caffeine lawsuit was also thrown out,” he noted.
Despite the dismissal of these lawsuits, which validated that the claims were unfounded, Logan expressed concern that the damage to the company had already been done.
“Regardless, the rumors spread, and unfortunately, the damage is done,” he commented.
Additionally, during the Impaulsive episode, MrBeast teased that the forthcoming ‘Beast Games’ show on Amazon Prime Video will “blow your mind” once it debuts.
