On February 12, 2025, Paul escalated the situation by issuing a direct challenge to Messi in a lighthearted TikTok video where he humorously remarked, “Brother, you copied us!” He elaborated on the perception of betrayal and the ensuing legal battle, expressing his desire to potentially retract the lawsuit in favor of an exciting boxing showdown.“If you can’t beat the best, you gotta be the best… But that’s illegal.
