Jake and Logan Paul, brothers known for their extravagant spending, are reportedly prepared to offer a staggering $12 million for the hat that former President Donald Trump wore during an attempted assassination, although the item is not currently available for purchase.
On July 13, 2024, the internet was abuzz with news of a man who attempted to assassinate former US president Donald Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania. Luckily, his shot narrowly missed the president’s head and only grazed his ear.
Despite the shooter’s attempt, a firefighter attending the event was killed. The individual, later identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, was ultimately stopped by a counter-sniper.
During a broadcast of the IMPAULSIVE podcast, Jake and Logan Paul, known for their staunch support of Trump, openly discussed their desire to purchase the hat worn by the presidential candidate during the shooting.
“Logan stated he would offer $2M for the hat worn during the attempted assassination along with his full endorsement. He acknowledged that the person in question did not require his endorsement, but the offer still stands.”
In an attempt to keep up, Jake responded with a $3M proposal, causing Logan to immediately demand $4M. Jake then offered $5M, which prompted Logan to once again increase the price to $6M.
The segment starts at 55:00.
“Jake confessed that he would be willing to pay up to $12M with his current funds.”
Logan suggested splitting the cost of the hat and playfully encouraged his brother to ask Trump about its whereabouts and purpose if they were to meet.
Despite this, ‘The Maverick’ disclosed that he had previously approached Trump directly to inquire about purchasing the hat, but it was not available for sale. “They are not willing to part with it. It holds sentimental value as a family heirloom. Why on earth would they let us buy it?”
The competition between the two brothers over the podcast rights to the hat is a clear demonstration of their ongoing sibling rivalry. Interestingly, Logan had informed Trump that he had reached out to Netflix about potentially replacing Mike Tyson for his fight against Jake, hinting that the brothers may finally be open to facing each other.
Despite not having officially confirmed a fight, the co-owner of Jake Paul’s MVP revealed that Netflix is interested in a longer build-up before the potential boxing match between the two. Therefore, it is highly likely that the two will face off in the near future.
