During his recent appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Logan Paul shocked viewers by claiming that Kevin Owens, rather than Floyd Mayweather Jr., is the most challenging opponent he has faced in his combat sports career.
Despite transitioning into a bonafide WWE superstar, Logan Paul’s fans will not forget his brief boxing stint prior to his professional wrestling career.
Despite being an influencer and not a professional boxer, Paul’s exhibition fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr., a retired and undefeated boxing champion, generated over a million pay-per-view purchases and contributed to the growth of the influencer presence in combat sports.
Prior to Wrestlemania 40, Paul made an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show where he discussed the reasons why facing his fellow WWE colleague Kevin Owens would be a more difficult task compared to dealing with Mayweather Jr.
“It’s hard for me to believe, but fighting Kevin Owens was actually more difficult than fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr.,”Paul remarked.

The audience in attendance, along with McAfee’s team, were visibly taken aback. A clear “woah”could be heard resonating throughout the arena.
“Paul continued, “Let me share something with you. Wrestling has been the most challenging experience of my life. There is no other field that demands such a diverse set of skills like the WWE.”
Paul explains that while boxing, his sole concentration is on the opponent in front of him. Nevertheless, in the world of WWE, known as “The Maverick,”he attests that there exist countless factors that fans may not even consider.
Paul expressed that when he is wrestling, his main concern is the satisfaction of the 60,000 people in the arena. He sees it as his responsibility to ensure that they feel they received their money’s worth and he takes this duty very seriously.
As a veteran of WWE for many years, Owens is highly praised for his in-ring abilities and is considered one of the top performers in the company. He sets high standards for any opponent he faces.
Paul’s choice of “KO”as his most formidable opponent speaks volumes about both professional wrestling and Owens himself.
WWE athletes prioritize entertaining every fan present, while in boxing, the main focus is on achieving victory. This, according to Paul, is the distinction between the two.
