Logan Paul recently revealed that his widely publicized confrontation with fellow content creator TommyInnit over Lunchly had a significant emotional impact on him.
In the episode of the IMPAULSIVE podcast aired on October 23, 2024, Logan reflected on the controversy that unfolded earlier in the month involving him and British Minecraft star TommyInnit.
The feud escalated when Logan shared a private exchange between himself and Tommy on X (previously known as Twitter), which showcased Tommy’s growing frustration due to Logan’s failure to answer his calls.
The following day, Tommy responded with a YouTube video criticizing Logan’s Lunchly product. He railed against the lunch kit while also teasing his own upcoming single vape pen named “Vapely.”
Tommy condemned Lunchly for being an unhealthy option and criticized Logan for endorsing and linking his name to such a product.
Weeks after this viral dispute, Logan Paul opened up about the feelings it stirred within him, notably expressing how “hurt” he was by TommyInnit’s remarks.
Discussion begins at the 44:15 mark
“I felt the need to respond because I had a solid rapport with this kid. He often reached out. I really believed he would become a successful creator, and I still do,” said Logan.
He conceded that he “deserved to be criticized” for the poorly timed advertisement but stood firm in his viewpoint that he has no control over “where the f*cking ads go.”
Even while acknowledging his part in this scenario, he expressed his astonishment at Tommy’s reaction. “We got along well, so what took place? I felt a bit hurt and reacted impulsively, which was quite immature.”
As Logan articulated his side, co-host Mike Majlak mentioned that he had advised Logan not to engage in a response.
Nonetheless, Logan added, “I should have been focusing on promoting Lunchly instead, and that was the error I made.”
Before transitioning to the next topic on the podcast, Logan emphasized the lessons he’s taken from this incident, vowing to no longer “get ensnared in this drama” unless it is “advantageous to me in some capacity.”
As of now, TommyInnit has not yet commented on Logan’s recent reflections, but we will keep you informed should he choose to respond.
