Logan Paul Interested in Purchasing Evander Holyfield’s Ear following Mike Tyson Controversy

Logan Paul has announced his desire to purchase Evander Holyfield’s ear before his brother Jake Paul’s highly-anticipated match against Mike Tyson on Saturday, July 20 in Arlington, Texas.

Paul’s younger brother is set to face off against “Iron Mike”, who was widely regarded as the most formidable heavyweight boxer in the world during his prime.

Despite his successful career, Tyson was unable to defeat his former rival Holyfield, who emerged victorious over him in two world heavyweight title fights.

The June 1997 rematch between the two was surrounded by controversy when Tyson bit off a piece of Holyfield’s ear during a clinch.

Despite Holyfield retaining his WBA heavyweight world title, referee Mills Lane quickly disqualified Tyson, resulting in some consequences.

Upon discovery by an employee at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, where the fight occurred, the one inch piece of cartilage from Holyfield’s ear was never reattached.

Despite conflicting reports, the most prevalent explanation is that the ear was misplaced during Holyfield’s transport to the hospital, resulting in it not being reattached.

It remains a mystery whether Holyfield’s ear, famously bitten by Tyson, still exists. However, as Tyson prepares for his comeback fight at the age of 58, Logan Paul was determined to uncover a piece of boxing history before the first press conference between Jake Paul and Tyson in New York on Monday evening.

A team member from Most Valuable Promotions informed Paul that the janitor who was cleaning the ring had discovered the item and returned it to Holyfield. However, Holyfield declined to wear it again as he found it to be stylish.

Paul asked if Evander had the missing ear. The team member responded, saying that he may still have it. Although the doctors had planned to reattach it, Evander decided against it, saying that he preferred the way it looked without it.

The ring was discovered by whoever was sweeping it up, approximately two hours after the fight had ended.

After laughing, Paul turned to another person and declared, “I am attempting to purchase Evander’s ear.”

The 29-year-old is well-acquainted with seeking out extravagant items to purchase, and has even gone to extreme measures in the past to acquire the world’s priciest Pokémon card.

On Saturday, July 20, Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will face off in a boxing match at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The event will be captured by Netflix cameras.

In the meantime, Logan Paul is preparing for his upcoming fight against Cody Rhodes at King and Queen of the Ring in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, May 25, with the hopes of becoming the WWE Universal champion.
