Logan Paul is turning his Prime lawsuits into a WWE storyline

In a comedic twist, Logan Paul has turned his ongoing lawsuits involving Prime Hydration into a parody by filing a “lawsuit”against WWE star LA Knight.

In 2022, Logan Paul and KSI joined forces to launch Prime Hydration, and they have since made significant strides in expanding the company.

Prime entered into a sponsorship agreement with the WWE in March 2023, shortly after Logan achieved the title of US champion.

During WWE SummerSlam 2024 on August 3, 2024, Paul attempted to defend his title but was ultimately defeated by LA Knight, a wrestler with whom he has been embroiled in a long-standing feud.

As an integral part of the storyline for SummerSlam 2024, Knight “stole”a truck branded with Prime at the event and used a steel bar to smash its window. On August 5, Logan Paul filed a “lawsuit”against LA Knight for the damages to the vehicle, further developing their shared narrative within the WWE.

Logan Paul, represented by his attorney and in accordance with Ohio Rev. Code §§ 2307.60 and 2307.61, submits this Complaint and Request for Jury Trial against Shaun Michael Ricker, also known as “LA Knight,” to seek justice for the civil theft and intentional destruction of Mr. Paul’s PRIME truck. Ricker is accused of stealing the truck and subsequently using a metal pipe to vandalize the driver-side window and adjacent areas.

In light of Mr. Paul’s pursuit of compensatory and exemplary damages, as well as attorney’s fees and costs, and considering LA Knight’s lack of viable defenses, the following allegations are made by Mr. Paul:

This lawsuit stems from the wrongful actions of Defendant LA Knight, a professional wrestler for World Wrestling Entertainment (“WWE”), that resulted in significant harm to Mr. Paul’s vehicle. Prior to their scheduled match at SummerSlam in Cleveland, Ohio, LA Knight encountered Mr. Paul’s PRIME truck in the loading dock of Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. With malicious intent, LA Knight took control of the vehicle, driving away just as Mr. Paul was approaching him.

Upon closer examination, it is evident that the screenshot of the lawsuit is fake as it lacks a case number at the top of the page. It seems that Logan is using the ongoing lawsuits against Prime Hydration as inspiration for his parody.

Since its inception, Prime has encountered legal action over claims of incorporating everlasting chemicals in its hydration formula, deceitful promotion of its energy drinks, and, most recently, violation of trademark rights by the US Olympic committee.

Prime brought forth a legal claim for defamation against pro-boxer Ryan Garcia in May, resulting in the star apologizing for falsely spreading information about the drink.
