Logan Paul, who transitioned from being a YouTuber to a WWE superstar, recently disclosed that he had been planning his viral WWE Frog Splash drone shot for more than a year.
The 29-year-old amazed viewers at the King and Queen of the Ring event on May 25 with his incredible ‘Frog Splash,’ which was filmed from a unique perspective using a drone and can be seen in previously unseen footage.
Despite this, the YouTube star revealed that he had actually been thinking about the idea for over a year, indicating that there was a lot more that went into the shot.
In a post on X, he wrote that he had been envisioning that shot for a year. He recalled a conversation with his boss from May 2023, during which he first proposed the stunt.
“I wanted to share this idea with all of you as we prepare for our upcoming two PLE’s. I suggested this for WrestleMania, but it seems there were some complications with the venue. However, I believe there is an amazing opportunity to hire an FPV drone flyer to capture a daring jump of mine through a table or any other daring stunt,”read the text message from Logan Paul.
Logan Paul took on the undisputed universal champion Cody Rhodes on May 25.
The co-founder of Prime stated that this was simply another unique method of capturing a frog splash that has yet to be attempted. It is a way of creatively challenging the limits of media.
The stunt definitely left a lasting impression on fans. One person commented, “Logan wrestles with the skill of a seasoned veteran, it’s amazing how talented he is.”Another fan praised the camera work, stating, “That shot was absolutely fantastic.”In fact, one fan boldly declared that the drone shot could be the “future of the WWE.”
Despite his reputation as one of the most disliked wrestlers in the WWE, ‘The Maverick’ has quickly risen to fame and has even earned the title of United States champion.
