Riot Games has not yet revealed the artist for the 2024 League of Legends World Championship anthem, but many indications suggest it could be Linkin Park.
The anthems for Riot’s esports events are highly anticipated, serving as the soundtrack for the tournament. They typically showcase prominent artists and culminate in a live performance during the Grand Finals.
In the past, Riot has collaborated with major artists for its Worlds anthems, including Lil Nas X, Imagine Dragons, and NewJeans. While the official anthem for the 2024 World Championship has not been disclosed, there is substantial evidence suggesting the resurgent Linkin Park could be involved.
The band has announced exciting developments ahead of its upcoming tour, including the introduction of a new singer, Emily Armstrong, who takes over for the late Chester Bennington. Fans are eagerly anticipating the band’s return, and keen observers noticed that the LoL Esports social media account is also expressing enthusiasm.

Additionally, the band’s new album includes a song titled “Heavy is the Crown,” which aligns with the theme of the Worlds 2024 Anthem icon presented by Riot on September 9.
A significant indicator of Linkin Park being the featured artist is their scheduled performance at the O2 Arena in London on September 24, coinciding with the announced release date for the anthem.
Furthermore, the Worlds 2024 Grand Final matchup is set to take place at the O2 Arena on November 2.
Riot Games has a history of collaborating with Mike Shinoda, one of Linkin Park’s founding members, who appeared at a Global Premiere for Arcane in 2021. During this event, Shinoda expressed his support for Riot’s popular esports title, Valorant, while also mentioning his interest in League.
League esports fans will need to wait until September 24 to find out if their speculation about the band behind the 2024 Worlds anthem is accurate.
