The highly-anticipated anime adaptation of Loner Life in Another World is scheduled to debut on October 3, 2024, according to an official announcement from the anime’s staff on Monday, August 26, 2024. The staff also shared additional casting information, following their previous reveal of the main cast and crew.
Since January 2018, Overlap has been continuously releasing novels, with a total of 14 volumes published to date.
Loner Life in Another World: Release Date Announced
On Monday, August 26, 2024, Loner Life in Another World’s official website and X (previously known as Twitter) account revealed that the anime series will be premiering on October 3, 2024.
The broadcast information has been announced, stating that the Loner Life in Another World anime will air on Tokyo MX every Thursday at 24:00 JST, beginning on October 3, 2024 (which will effectively be Friday, October 4, 2024 at 12 am JST).
Additionally, the show will also air on BS Fuji at 12:30 AM JST beginning October 4, 2024, in addition to Tokyo MX. Fans from around the world can rest assured as HIDIVE has announced that they will be streaming the series in select regions.
In addition to this announcement, the official staff revealed the names of the extra cast members, who are listed below:

- Haruki Ishiya as Jock C

- Kodai Sekai as Delinquent F
The cast of Loner Life in Another World anime features Shuichiro Umeda as Haruka, the main character, and Haruka Shiraishi as the Class Representative. Additional voice actors who have been announced include Hina Suguta as the Gal Leader, Kyohei Natsume as Nerd A, Hiromu Mineta as Jock A, Tomohiro Yamaguchi as Delinquet A, and several others.
Isekai anime at Studio Passione and Hayabusa Film is directed by Akio Kazumi, with Kenta Ihara as the script supervisor and Keiya Nakano as the character designer. Hanako Kikuchi and Toshiya Washida are credited as the monster designers and sub-character designers for the show.
Shuji Katayama is responsible for the music composition, and Hisayoshi Hirasawa has been added to the team as the sound director. Ayako Tan, known for their work on the new Spice & Wolf anime, has been recruited as the editor, and Sakie Suzuki is in charge of color design.
The plot of the Loner Life in Another World anime, adapted from Shoji Goji’s light novel series, focuses on Haruka, a cynical loner who is suddenly transported to a different world with his classmates. In order to embark on his journey in this fantasy world, he must learn undesirable skills.
