Looking for aespa’s Younger Sister: SM’s First Global Girl Group Audition Announcement

On June 3rd, SM announced that they had begun accepting applications for their upcoming girl group, “2024 SM NEW GIRL GROUP AUDITION, SMNGG”. The application period started on June 1st, with the goal of debuting a fresh girl group.

The online application period will be open until June 22nd. Girls between the ages of 2005 and 2011 from anywhere in the world are eligible to apply.

To participate in the initial online audition, candidates are required to submit videos showcasing their self-introduction, vocal and dance skills. The designated mission songs must be used for the vocal and dance performances.

The second in-person audition will be conducted for those who qualify in the first round. All individuals will receive personal notifications with specific schedules and locations.

The ultimate victors of SMNGG will be given the chance to make their debut as members of SM’s upcoming girl group. More information can be accessed through SM’s official social media pages.
