As a consequence of their loss to 100 Thieves in VCT Americas Stage 1, LOUD will not be participating in their first international Valorant event since joining the scene.
Despite being the reigning champions of Masters Shanghai, Sentinels were unable to advance out of their groups in VCT Americas Stage 1, causing major upsets leading into the playoffs.
Despite their previous successes, LOUD’s failure to qualify for an international LAN marks the first time a Madrid top four team has not achieved this feat, thus ending their streak.

During the Playoffs’ Knockout Round, LOUD found themselves facing off against 100 Thieves in an elimination match, having just managed to secure a spot in the group stage.
Despite not finishing first in the group, 100 Thieves performed strongly in the stage, with their only losses coming against Sentinels, who had just won in Madrid, and KRÜ Esports, who were on a winning streak.
Despite neither team being heavily favored, 100 Thieves completely dominated LOUD on both maps, defeating them 13-6 on Bind and 13-4 on Icebox. This victory has given 100 Thieves the opportunity to qualify for their first international LAN since Champions 2022.
Meanwhile, LOUD expects to finish in 5th to 6th place in VCT Americas, marking the first time the team has not qualified for an international event.
Ever since their debut in 2022, they have participated in every Masters and Champions event possible, and have even emerged victorious in one of the Championships.
This also signifies an end to their streak of seven consecutive international LAN events, as Paper Rex has now taken the lead with eight consecutive events.
Following the conclusion of Masters Shanghai, LOUD will make a comeback to VCT in June for VCT Americas Stage 2.
