Amy Tiffany is determined to show the world that Lydia Arleen is not just the person they saw in Season 5.
Since officially becoming a part of the Love Is Blind family and being one of the few couples from the show still married, Amy Tiffany has wasted no time in socializing with her fellow alums from the series.
In fact, she had a meet and greet with Lydia Arleen, star of Season 5. As you may recall, Lydia did not receive the most favorable response from fans during her season.
Many viewers did not like Lydia from the beginning and even suggested that she had a hidden agenda for being on the show.
On April 21, Amy took to her Instagram story and delivered a lengthy explanation stating that while Lydia didn’t receive the best on-screen edit, the show failed to accurately portray her true personality.
“In the story, Amy vented that as viewers, we tend to unconsciously fill in the gaps and believe the couple of minutes we see on screen as absolute truth, leading us to misunderstand people.”
The reality TV star similarly likened herself to Lydia, pointing out that her discussion about birth control with her now-husband Johnny McIntyre during Season 6 was interpreted differently by viewers compared to the actual circumstances.
