In the previous episode, Naori eagerly awaited her midterm exam results, hoping to compare them with Jun’s. She had hoped to ask Jun out if she scored the top position. However, she was disappointed to learn that Jun had come in first, foiling her plan. To make matters worse, Jun made it clear that he was still uninterested in dating either her or Rumi.

In that instant, Naori caught sight of Rumi passing by and was hit with a Machiavellian scheme. She then challenged Jun to demonstrate his sincerity by embracing her. This display of affection angered Rumi, who later pulled Jun aside to a private area and demanded a hug for herself.

The next scene featured a new character named Amamiya, who sought out Jun in his classroom. Her purpose was to ask Jun to help her with her studies since she had not done well on her tests. At first, she had approached Rumi to see if her sister Naori could tutor her, but Rumi advised against it and recommended Jun instead.

Despite Jun’s initial attempt to reject Amamiya’s invitation, he and Rumi ultimately found themselves accepting and heading to her well-furnished apartment in one of the tallest buildings for dinner. Amamiya, accustomed to cooking for herself due to her father’s absence and her mother’s busy work schedule, had prepared a lavish meal.

Meanwhile, Jun had tasked Kamedake with keeping Naori occupied to prevent her from discovering his meeting with Amamiya. Jun was aware of Naori’s dislike for Amamiya, as she believed him to be too pretentious and trying too hard to be a model. However, Naori became suspicious and was able to uncover the truth from Moriwaki.

Later that night, while Jun and Rumi were on their way back home, they came across Naori. Her initial anger dissipated as soon as she found out that Amamiya owned a cat named Ein and Rumi even shared some photos of the adorable feline. However, Naori was surprised when she discovered that Jun had agreed to tutor Amamiya.
