Both YouTube sensation Ludwig and renowned chess streamer Alexandra Botez have alleged that a poker sponsor has failed to pay them and other creators as promised.
While streaming on YouTube and interacting with his live chat, Ludwig was asked which of his sponsors he regretted the most out of all the ones he has collaborated with.
The streamer responded, stating that the sponsor they regret the most is America’s Card Room, a poker company they were previously affiliated with. Although the company did have a casino, the streamer was only sponsored for their poker playing and not for any casino games.
“Despite some potential criticism for promoting gambling, he confidently stated, “I couldn’t care less about that. In my opinion, poker is an incredible game.”
“Ludwig explained that the reason for their regret was due to the company’s refusal to pay them the money they had earned from playing poker.”
Pulling the money out was extremely difficult. If it was difficult for me, then it would also be challenging for the people I was promoting to play poker. As a result, I decided to end our partnership because I believe the site is subpar, the content creator explained.

After the video went viral on social media, Alexandra Botez took to Twitter/X to respond and make additional allegations against the poker company.
“According to Botez, ACR has failed to compensate numerous creators, including herself, for sponsored streams dating back more than a year. The blame has been placed on @EndGameTalent, who ACR contracted and accuses of scamming them. Despite Botez’s efforts to resolve the issue by speaking with the ACR CEO, they have not followed through on their promise and have become untrustworthy.”
ACR hasn’t paid out dozens of creators for sponsored streams from well over a year ago, myself included. ACR contracted @EndGameTalent and blames them for ripping them off. While that complicates things, I spoke with ACR CEO who promised to make things right but instead ghosted.… https://t.co/3mAXMESe0u

Ludwig is well-versed in poker content. As a passionate player, he gained recognition for organizing the $1,000,000 YouTube poker tournament in 2022. This event attracted top streaming and poker personalities, including MrBeast, xQc, Phil Hellmuth, and Alexandra Botez.
In addition to her Chess content, Botez has been participating in different poker tournaments and live streaming them on her Twitch channel. On July 3, she had a sudden and dramatic exit from a high-stakes poker competition in Las Vegas, resulting in a loss of $10K in just a few seconds.
