Luke Berry is facing backlash from fans for his decision to pursue a prenuptial agreement with his girlfriend, Madelein Perez, on the fourth season of 90 Day Fiancé: Love In Paradise.
Despite facing some challenges, Luke Berry and Madelein Perez, who are a couple on Season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Love In Paradise, are currently spending time together in Colombia.
Brian, Luke’s friend, made an accusation of cheating against Madelein, resulting in Luke losing his trust in his girlfriend and questioning their future as a couple.
During a segment from the June 17 installment of 90 Day Fiancé: Love In Paradise, Luke and Madelein embark on a boat excursion together, however, he begins to question the strength of their relationship.
“Luke explained in his confessional that he believes trust must be earned, especially when it comes to Madelein. With the rumors surrounding her, he finds it difficult to trust her unconditionally. Therefore, he plans to have another conversation with Madelein about the prenup.”
He proceeded to disclose that he was presenting his girlfriend with an ultimatum. “I have no intention of causing her any pain, but I also do not want to be hurt by her. If Madelein refuses to sign the prenup, I am not willing to proceed with the marriage.”
Upon the release of the 90 Day Fiancé: Love In Paradise teaser on YouTube, viewers criticized Luke for insisting on a prenuptial agreement with Madelein.
“According to one fan’s comment, it seems unlikely that this relationship will stand the test of time as the age difference between the two individuals is quite significant. The fan also expresses concerns about the man’s controlling behavior and history of lying. The possibility of him becoming wealthy is also questioned.”
One audience member found it strange that a prenuptial agreement was being advertised as a regular practice on television. They felt that the person should not have the authority to compel their partner to sign a prenup solely based on their age difference.
Another individual pointed out that Madelein’s business is essentially Luke’s money, as he takes credit for it even though she has not made any profit and lacks a sufficient number of customers.
Despite the controversial age gap between Luke and Madelein, their relationship has faced challenges on 90 Day Fiancé: Love In Paradise as they work to keep Madelein’s beauty business thriving.
Viewers will have to tune in to see how Madelein reacts to Luke’s ultimatum, as a potential prenup may be brought up before their marriage.
