The First Descendant is adding a brand-new playable character, Luna, to their looter-shooter game. Luna will soon be joining the already existing character, Ultimate Valby.
Since its initial launch on June 30, Nexon’s game has undergone numerous updates. The most recent patch includes a highly requested change to the Outpost feature, as well as other enhancements. Additionally, the patch notes contain information about the upcoming update for the game.
The initial content drop for The First Descendant is approaching, which will introduce Ultimate Valby, a new Devourer-type, fresh weaponry, and the first new Descendant in Luna.
So far, this is all the information we have gathered on Luna.
When will Luna be released?
The release date for Luna has been scheduled for August 1, 2024, as part of The First Descendant’s week 5 update. Additionally, the update will introduce new gameplay and cosmetic content, including Ultimate Valby and a swimsuit skin for the new Descendant.
Who is Luna?
Luna, who is also referred to as the “Mad Artist,”is a singer whose talents revolve around using music to support her comrades, effectively transforming the battleground into a stage.
According to sources, Luna’s music is believed to have a soothing impact and bring happiness to those who hear it, making it an essential commodity in Albion.
After “a long wandering performance,”it is also rumored that she will be returning to Albion.
Luna’s Role and Abilities
Luna is a Support character who possesses abilities that enhance her allies. Through the power of music, she can boost her team’s skill power, earning her the title of The First Descendant’s bard.
Despite the limited information provided in the patch notes, it is revealed that her synthesizer gun gains strength when fired in a rhythmic manner, resulting in enhanced buffs for her allies.
The genre of music Luna performs to also affects her abilities. Dancing to lively music enhances her allies’ skill power, while dancing to calming songs increases her team’s morale and decreases resource usage.
Additionally, two Modification Modules for Luna have been unveiled by Nexon.
- The skill “Nimble Footsteps”improves Luna’s movement and expands the range of her performance, resulting in enhanced support for her allies.
- With the Noise Surge ability, Luna’s role shifts from a supporter to a combat dealer. She charges towards enemies in a rhythmic fashion, causing damage to those in close proximity. When the inspiration gauge reaches its maximum, she can call upon a stage to regain mental fortitude and create shields.
The element Luna uses has not been revealed yet, nor has it been confirmed whether she is a Non-Elemental Descendant or not.
So far, that is all the information we have about Luna!
