Lunchly Addresses Rosanna Pansino’s Allegations of Mold Found in Product

Lunchly has reacted after popular YouTuber Rosanna Pansino alleged that she discovered mold in one of the products endorsed by influencers.

In September 2024, social media sensations MrBeast, Logan Paul, and KSI launched Lunchly, a competitor aimed at rivaling Lunchables, which integrates their own Prime Hydration sports drink and Feastables chocolate treats.

The launch faced immediate criticism, as both fans and other creators expressed their disapproval of the lunch kit. Shortly after, another YouTuber’s allegations further escalated the situation.

Rosanna Pansino, a vocal critic of MrBeast, reported finding mold within a Lunchly kit she had purchased, even though the product still had two months until its expiration date.

Pansino wasn’t alone; other consumers also reported finding mold in their Lunchly products and posted videos of their experiences across various social media platforms.

Pansino stated in her unedited video, “I recognize skepticism surrounding my claims, but perhaps the many videos of moldy mozzarella cheese found in Lunchly kits will convince them.” She cautioned viewers to exercise caution if they have purchased these products.

In response to the mold accusations, Lunchly emphasized, “Every Lunchly item undergoes a rigorous quality assurance process to ensure safety and quality. This includes multiple inspections and USDA approvals before any product is shipped from the facility.”

Lunchly was officially launched by Logan Paul, KSI, and MrBeast on September 16, 2024.

This controversy represents another wave of criticism directed at Lunchly, following discussions with two registered dieticians who criticized the marketing strategies of the influencer-backed lunch kit, urging parents to question its suitability for their children’s diets.

“MrBeast, KSI, and Logan Paul are fully aware of their substantial sway over young audiences on social media, and they appear to be leveraging this influence to evade accountability in creating the quality product they purport to support,” stated Destini Moody from Top Nutrition Coaching.

As of now, neither KSI, MrBeast, nor Logan Paul have directly addressed Pansino’s mold allegations. However, all three have consistently defended Lunchly against its detractors since its inception in September.
