On August 15, the Season of Boom was kicked off with EA Sports’ release of the first major promo for Madden Ultimate Team in Madden 25.
This upcoming season will coincide with Seasons 1 and 2, and will also feature a unique Field Pass, fresh Challenges, and new Champions cards.

New Cards and Sets
The Season of Boom introduced four 85 OVR Champions: Kam Chancellor, Quincy Williams, Josh Allen, and Mike Evans. To obtain one, players must have three 82-83 OVR players and two 82 OVR Season of Boom cards.

In addition, sets can be completed by combining four 80 OVR Season of Boom cards to acquire 82 OVR Boom cards.
Furthermore, those who play Madden 25 will be granted a complimentary 79 OVR Season of Boom Jabril Peppers, which has the potential to be enhanced to an 83 OVR by utilizing BOOM Upgrade Tokens. Moreover, MUT participants have the opportunity to obtain a 78 OVR Uncommon Boom player by trading in three 76-77 OVR cards.
The B, O, O, and M Tokens can be utilized for three sets that can be repeated. Upon completion, players can receive a 78+ OVR player, an 80+ OVR BND player, and a 35,000 Coin Quicksell as a reward.
Challenges and rewards
The Field Pass requires players to complete two sets of Season of Boom Challenges: Thundering Defense and Roaring Offense. Completing these challenges will earn players letter tokens, upgrade tokens, and BND Season of Boom players as rewards.
