Similar to titles like EA FC, Madden typically introduces Team of the Week cards that celebrate outstanding players from the most recent week of NFL action.
EA Sports kicked off the release of the first set of TOTW items in late August, following the conclusion of the preseason. Included were several former first-round selections, and fans can look forward to more Team of the Week cards being launched throughout the season.
Here’s a complete look at the TOTW cards in Madden 25.
Week 2 TOTW
Here are the TOTW cards for Week 2 of Madden 25:

- HB James Cook – 87 OVR
- RE Aidan Hutchinson – 84 OVR

- ROLB Robert Spillane – 84 OVR

- CB Derek Stingley Jr. – 87 OVR
- MLB Chance Campbell – 86 OVR
- WR Trishton Jackson – 86 OVR
- LE Greg Rousseau – 86 OVR
- CB Micah Abraham – 83 OVR
- HB Eric Gray – 83 OVR
- LOLB Daniel Hardy – 80 OVR
- QB Mac Jones – 80 OVR
- CB Kemon Hall – 78 OVR
- WR Dante Pettis – 78 OVR
The standout name on this list is JJ McCarthy, the Vikings QB who performed notably for Minnesota before suffering a season-ending injury. This list also features preseason sack leader Daniel Hardy, former Patriots QB Mac Jones, and notable third overall pick Derek Stingley Jr. Both Stingley and McCarthy have 87 OVR TOTW cards.
As previously mentioned, EA typically releases Team of the Week cards every week during the regular season, alongside cards recognizing the best preseason performers.
