The storyline of the anime focuses on the romantic comedy involving the male lead, Kazuhiko Nukumiu. While attending school one day, Kazuhiko happened to witness one of the most beautiful girls in school, Anna Yanami, being turned down by a boy. In the aftermath of the rejection, Anna coincidentally met Kazuhiko.

Without realizing it, she began to share her love story with him, recounting how she and the boy who had rejected her, Anna, had planned to marry each other. When Kazuhiko asked about it, Anna explained that they had made this promise when they were just 5 years old, comforting the male protagonist and assuring him that the rejection was not serious.

Kazuhiko finds himself in a predicament, surrounded by three stunning heroines who have all been unsuccessful in their pursuit of love. Yet, as the heroines heal from their heartache, Kazuhiko may start to develop feelings for the defeated women. Is this out of sympathy or is there something more?
