Upon hearing Solar’s impressive cover of BINI’s “Pantropiko,”MooMoos were thoroughly impressed. The idol’s delivery and pronunciation truly captured the vibe of the song!

The K-pop idol performed at the Solaire Resort’s The Theatre in Manila for her 2nd concert, “COLOURS,”on June 16.

During this event, the star dedicated her time to her Filipino MooMoos (fandom) by showcasing both her group and solo songs, and even surprised her supporters with a special performance!

The sound system playing “Pantropiko,”the global viral song of P-pop girl group BINI, was a particular moment that drove the entire crowd into a frenzy. BINI is currently recognized as the “Nation’s Girl Group”in the Philippines.

The audience at the concert joined in singing along with the K-pop star, and were amazed as Solar’s flawless vocals and impressive pronunciation of Filipino (the official language of the Philippines) left them speechless.

Consequently, the idol fulfills their fans’ desires by performing the requested song for a second time, leaving them satisfied and wanting more.

As expected, Solar did not fail to impress and her actions caused the crowd to cheer even louder. She proudly grabbed a pride flag, honoring the LGBTQ+ community during their dedicated month.

She is not just a “mother,”she is also a QUEEN!

This is not only a victory for MooMoos, but also for the P-pop girl group BINI. It is well known that the members of BINI were avid supporters of MAMAMOO, making this win even more special for them.

Previously, they had opted to showcase the K-pop group’s hit track “HIP”at the Happy Hallyu Day event. However, after two years, they were pleasantly surprised to see their favorite group performing a cover of their own song this time around!

We are eagerly anticipating more MAMAMOO x BINI moments and hopefully, an interaction between them in the near future.

Despite MAMAMOO’s hiatus, Solar continues to actively promote as a soloist by releasing her second mini-album, “COLORS”, in April.

In order to promote the album, she proceeded to hold her first solo concert in approximately 6 years, entitled “COLOURS,”following her previous concert “BLOSSOM”in 2018.

The primary goal of the concert is to feature Solar’s vibrant music, incorporating her latest songs, and to convey her message of encouragement in the hopes that each individual will discover their own unique hue through her dynamic performance.

The tour began on June 1 and 2 in Seoul, and then moved on to Manila on June 16. Her upcoming stops include Kaohsiung, Taiwan on June 22, and Japan on June 28-29.

On July 7, she will have a meeting with MooMoos in Hong Kong, and then continue on to perform in Taipei, Taiwan (July 14), Singapore (July 27), and finally concluding her tour in Macau on October 6.
