Man City fans demand IShowSpeed end stream after cheering for Real Madrid

Famous YouTuber IShowSpeed traveled to England to show his support for Real Madrid during their UEFA Champions League match against Man City. However, he encountered the anger of supporters of the home team.

IShowSpeed is an avid football enthusiast and despite his favorite player Ronaldo no longer being a part of Real Madrid, the YouTube personality has continued to support his former team.

On April 17, Speed attended Real Madrid’s second look at their match against Man City and live streamed from the stands.

In the 12th minute, Speed erupted with excitement when Rodrygo scored, giving them a 4-3 aggregate lead and causing frustration among Man City supporters who were urging him to sit down.

“Wait, they’re telling me to sit down? Even after they scored? What’s going on? Come on, Rodrygo!”exclaimed a bewildered Speed.

Others seemed to become incensed by Speed’s rebelliousness, prompting an off-screen individual to approach the YouTuber and caution him against cheering for the opposing team and instead only supporting City. In an ironic twist, Speed proceeded to do exactly that.

Despite successfully energizing the home team, Speed was subsequently notified that he was unable to broadcast live from the stadium and had to abruptly conclude his show.

“The man urged the content creator to hurry up as he declared, “I’m ending it right now.”Disappointed, the content creator addressed his chat, stating that he could not go live or show his face. Despite not wanting to, he had to end the stream.”

Regrettably for supporters of Manchester City, Speed chose to continue streaming the YouTube video, arguing that it would be illogical for the stadium to eject him simply for being a fan of the opposing team.

Despite this, Speed explicitly stated that he was not trying to provoke City fans. As of the time of his post, he was able to continue watching and streaming the football match without experiencing any further problems.
