Man Goes Viral Pretending to Own Stranger’s Car to Avoid a Ticket

A stranger’s act of kindness gained widespread attention when he rescued a person from receiving a parking ticket.

In May, TikToker Jay Hami restored faith in humanity when he showed an impromptu act of kindness by saving another man from receiving a parking ticket.

Jay’s viral TikTok has amassed over 96M views, in which he captured the moment a police officer was about to issue a ticket to a parked car. It appeared that the owner was not present at the time.

The man quickly crossed the street to inform the officer that he was the owner of the vehicle, ultimately preventing the true owner from receiving a fine. With a sense of relief, the man remarked, “I’ve got you covered”as the officer departed.

The TikToker continued to make two more videos in the same week as his original post, resulting in millions more views. In these videos, he provided further assistance to the stranger.

Upon watching one of the videos, Jay discovered that the parked car was missing a tire. He was surprised and decided to leave a note for the owner with his phone number, expressing his desire to assist them.

After being contacted by the owner, the TikToker met the man next to his stationary vehicle and kindly provided him with $300, which was the exact amount needed to purchase a suitable tire.

Jay assured him, “I may not be MrBeast, but I still want to assist you in any way I can.”He then handed over the cash. The owner of the car gratefully responded, “Thank you so much, that means a lot.”He shook the hand of the generous TikToker.

Viewers have continued to commend Jay for his kindness, particularly because he assisted the man not only once, but twice. One viewer praised, “You are such a kind person! Not only did you save him from a ticket, but you also helped him with his tire.”

Despite being strangers at first, Jay and the owner of the vehicle shared a heartfelt exchange. The man expressed his gratitude for Jay’s kind gesture and offered to return the favor by being there for him whenever he needed help.
