Mark Goldbridge, a Manchester United streamer, has strongly criticized Casemiro for his involvement in Arsenal’s game-winning goal against the Red Devils. He stated that the midfielder’s lack of speed was comparable to “Michael Jackson on a tractor”as he failed to return to an onside position before the Gunners scored.
Despite a strong start against Arsenal, Man United’s efforts were foiled in the 20th minute when Kai Havertz passed the ball to Leandro Trossard who easily scored past Andre Onana from inside the six-yard box.
Upon receiving Ben White’s through ball on the right side, the German player was in a vast amount of open space. Some argued for an offside call, as it initially appeared that he was well behind United’s back four.
Despite being 10 yards deeper than the rest of his defensive line, Casemiro allowed Havertz to stay onside as he slowly jogged back up the pitch. This decision would later be criticized by Goldbridge, known for passionately expressing his opinions about his favorite club, as Trossard easily scored after receiving the ball.
“Why on earth is Casemiro allowing Havertz to stay onside?”he exclaimed. “He’s been a complete disaster for the past month. He’s too slow. He should be running out, that’s just plain laziness.”
“He’s as slow as a tractor, even slower than Michael Jackson who was known for not being able to drive and is now deceased. Therefore, he would be extremely slow on a tractor.”
“Casemiro’s behavior was completely unacceptable, absolutely terrible. He has cost us greatly and it is a major disappointment after all the hard work put in by everyone. It can only be described as pure laziness. This is a complete joke.”

Trossard’s goal was the pivotal moment of the match, leading Arsenal to a 1-0 victory at Old Trafford. With this result, Mikel Arteta’s team will carry the Premier League title race into the final day of the season.
The Gunners’ hopes of finishing at the top of the table rely on Man City dropping points in one of their two remaining games against Tottenham and West Ham. If Arsenal defeats Everton at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, May 19, they will still need Man City to falter in order to have a chance at the top spot.
