According to Marvel fans, there is a Doctor Doom kill that could cause ten times more online damage than the Robert Downey Jr reveal that broke the internet.
Ever since the announcement of Downey’s reprisal as Doctor Doom in Avengers 5, now titled Avengers: Doomsday, a few days have passed, yet the world is still in shock.
Despite the divisive opinions among fans, the impact of Iron Man’s death in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame remains a significant factor, especially with the existence of a variant of Tony Stark who is a supervillain.
With the recent decision to shift from Kang the Conqueror to Doctor Doom in Avengers 5, focus has now shifted towards potential events in Doomsday and Secret Wars. Among them, there is a specific death scene that could greatly intensify the excitement.
In Marvel’s Secret Wars #8, Doom confronts Thanos and inquires about the Infinity Gauntlet. Thanos responds that he does not possess it, but he declares that it is inconsequential as he is still the formidable Thanos the Great. However, Doom easily disintegrates him with a single flick of his wrist.

According to one tweet, having Robert Downey Jr. play Doctor Doom and face off against Thanos in the MCU would be a great way to support families.
A second individual also concurred that the appearance of “God Emperor Doom”in the MCU would be the ultimate moment, while a third person added that it would cause the internet to go into a frenzy.
“Another individual suggested that an RDJ Tony Stark version of Doctor Doom defeating Thanos in the MCU would bring the story full circle and be a truly epic moment.”
Some aspects, such as Thanos possibly making a comeback in the MCU after Endgame, would need to be sorted out before the scene can be released. However, with Secret Wars being set up by Doomsday, anything is possible.
One fan argued, “Since it’s a PG-13 movie, it’s unlikely that the skeletal part of the scene would be shown,”while another expressed, “I hope not. I want the authentic Doctor Doom to be the one responsible for this, not a Variant,”another chimed in.
