Focus on Jeff the Land Shark’s Ultimate Ability
Jeff the Land Shark is among the characters slated for significant updates, particularly concerning his ultimate ability, which many players have described as overly powerful since the game’s inception.
The upcoming adjustments will include a recalibration of the “detection range”for Jeff’s ultimate, aimed at enhancing the clarity of warning signals prior to its activation. Players have long expressed their frustrations regarding how Jeff, despite his charming appearance, can be nearly impossible to defeat when wielded by a skilled opponent. His ultimate attack, which enables him to engulf both allies and foes before ejecting them, can drastically alter the course of a match.
Currently, players receive a visual cue on the ground indicating the impending location of the ultimate’s impact. However, many have noted discrepancies between this visual indicator and the actual hitbox, leading to unfair situations where characters believed to be safely positioned outside the targeted area can still be caught in the attack.

Furthermore, concerns have been raised regarding the extensive range of his ultimate, which has the potential to affect airborne characters, thus creating a feeling of imbalance. While it remains uncertain if adjustments will be made to the vertical hitbox, developers are determined to implement these crucial changes for Jeff in the new season.
