Understanding the Celestial Rank in Marvel Rivals
The new Celestial rank will be positioned above Grandmaster and below Eternity within the overall ranking system. This addition aims to enhance the competitive experience for the game’s elite players, creating a structured atmosphere for top-tier gameplay.
As the third-highest rank currently available in Marvel Rivals, Celestial rank will feature three distinct divisions, mirroring the existing hierarchical structure.
Further insights from Zhiyong outlined the mechanics of the upcoming competitive rank resets, which will be influenced by players’ standings at the conclusion of Season 0. For instance, those who reach Platinum 1 by the end of Season 0 will find themselves starting Season 1 at Silver 2, experiencing a drop of seven divisions.
Achieving the prestigious Celestial rank is expected to be a challenging endeavor for players. To help refine your skills and bolster your ranking, numerous character guides—featuring champions like Winter Soldier, Jeff the Land Shark, and Black Widow—are available to assist you ahead of Season 1’s launch on January 10, 2025.
