Tips for Playing Venom in Marvel Rivals

Despite having a tank role and strong health and regeneration abilities, Venom cannot simply charge at enemies and expect to survive. The main objective for using Venom is not to eliminate opponents, but rather to disrupt the enemy team’s key damage dealers and healers. This allows for your Duelists to take advantage and deplete their health.

As swinging and climbing walls is possible on every map, players can use this to their advantage by escaping combat with low health and strategizing their next move against the opposing team. By utilizing their F ability, they can crash into a heavily contested area and immobilize enemies with Cellular Corrosion, while continuously attacking with left-click spam.

During your escape, it is advisable to have a healer constantly tending to your injuries as you use your potent tentacle attacks to hinder your opponents. When your ultimate ability is replenished, it would be wise to retreat momentarily to receive healing before disappearing underground and catching the enemy’s DPS and healers off guard with a sudden strike.

Although there is a learning curve to mastering Venom’s abilities, once you have a grasp of how to control the symbiote, he can wreak havoc on the opposing team.
