According to the official Marvel Rivals Twitter/X account, the Winter Celebration will commence on Thursday, December 19, at 11:00 PM PST and conclude on Thursday, January 9.
Introducing a New Game Mode: Jeff’s Winter Splash Festival
During the Winter Celebration, players can engage in an exhilarating new game mode named Jeff’s Winter Splash Festival. This dynamic 4v4 match will challenge players to compete in a vibrant, map-painting contest reminiscent of the popular game Splatoon.

Festive Character Skins to Celebrate the Season
With the launch of the Winter Celebration, players will gain access to an array of festive character skins. Iconic characters such as Groot, Jeff the Land Shark, Magik, Rocket Raccoon, and Venom will showcase new, holiday-themed designs.
Notably, Groot will be styled as a Christmas tree adorned with a Santa hat, while Jeff will be seen wearing goggles and earmuffs. Magik appears ready for a ski adventure, embodying the winter spirit, as does Rocket Raccoon, who dons an outfit suitable for snowy escapades, while Venom sports a cool ice-themed look.
As an added incentive, every player participating in the event will receive Jeff’s holiday costume at no cost. Furthermore, attendees can anticipate a “special winter greeting card” filled with delightful gifts from the charming Land Shark.
