Astro Bot is more than just a typical platforming adventure; it also serves as a tribute to all things PlayStation, including beloved characters that fans adore. Among them is Aloy from the Horizon series, who has her own unique level where players can utilize her abilities and have a great time. Additionally, this level is where players can obtain the What a Trip! trophy in Astro Bot.
Defeating Enemies With Tripcaster in Astro Bot
The level entitled Machine Learning is unlocked after freeing Aloy from the massive bird in the Feather Cluster nebula. With her bow in hand, Astro can now shoot arrows from a distance using either L2 or R2, adding an extra element of enjoyment to the game.
Upon reaching a certain point, you will come across the Tripcaster traps which are located after crossing a wire. In case you are not acquainted with these traps, they consist of two pylons connected by purple electricity. Although they can be easily disabled using Astro’s laser, they are necessary for obtaining the What a Trip! trophy.
From the initial location where you come across them, leap up to spot additional Tripcasters. However, this time, they are guarded by enemies. In order to earn the trophy, you must use the electricity to defeat seven enemies, but the catch is that you must first grab their attention.
To successfully defeat the enemies, make sure to avoid hovering over the Tripcasters and instead, jump over them. This will cause the enemies to harm themselves. Since there are seven enemies in this area, try to lure them all and jump over a live Tripcaster to witness their self-destruction.
Successfully completing this task will earn you the What a Trip! trophy to add to your collection.
So there you have it, everything you need to know to achieve the What a Trip! trophy in Astro Bot by defeating enemies with the Tripcaster. Our advice includes obtaining the Lost Eggacy and Eyes of the All-Father trophies, as well as walkthroughs for the Gorilla Nebula and Tentacle System worlds.
