Matt Rife Makes Bold Offer to Purchase the Real Conjuring House

Comedian Matt Rife and YouTuber Elton Castee have made an “official offer” to purchase the real Conjuring House, notorious for the Perron Family hauntings.

Rife is no stranger to controversy or achieving viral fame online. In August 2024, a Netflix skit featuring Rife, which poked fun at cancel culture, went viral, primarily due to one of his opening jokes addressing domestic violence.

Alongside his tours across America, Rife frequently shares videos and clips from his shows on his YouTube channel, which boasts over 3 million subscribers. Additionally, Rife has gained a massive following on TikTok with 19 million followers.

Now, Rife is pursuing a new investment by putting forth an “official offer” to buy the notorious Conjuring House with fellow creator Elton Castee.

The Conjuring film series, inspired by the real-life events associated with the Perron Family hauntings, is currently accessible to visitors. Guests can explore the infamous house, take daytime tours, or, like Rife did a year ago, pay to stay overnight and fully experience the frights and mysteries of the location.

Along with the crew from the Overnight YouTube channel, Rife encountered the eerie experiences the house is known for, and now, a year later, Rife and Castee have made their case to acquire the property.

In a post on X, Castee tagged the official account of The Conjuring House and announced that he and Rife are “ready & willing to buy it if you’re keen to sell.”

He mentioned that the duo is prepared to cover all financial obligations “owed to employees” and compensations for “loss of goods.”

“Any date, we’re ready to make it happen,” concluded the X post.

Shortly after, Rife shared Castee’s post, tagging it as an “official offer.”

When queried about their motivation to purchase the property, they responded, stating, “As of now, it’s just a wonderful thought/offer to be able to give that location, its staff, and its customers the respect they all deserve.”

As of this writing, the official Conjuring page has not responded to either Rife or Castee. However, with Halloween approaching, it’s intriguing to speculate on what the two might plan for the house if the sale goes through.
