It appears that Max Holloway will face Ilia Topuria in his next Octagon appearance following an impressive performance at UFC 300.
On April 13, Holloway achieved a remarkable victory in MMA history by delivering a knockout blow to Justin Gaethje in the final second of their five-round lightweight bout.
As the No. 14 pound-for-pound fighter in the UFC, he entered the fight with a strong chance for a rise in the rankings. Despite being the former unified featherweight champion and currently ranked No. 2 in the division, he faces another challenge against Ilia Topuria, the current title holder and No. 5 ranked fighter in the promotion.
