There’s some good news for McDonald’s fans, as the brand is officially extending their popular $5 meal deal, giving customers more value for their money. In addition, they are launching a “season of savings”featuring various discounts and freebies.
The McDonald’s $5 meal deal was initially introduced in June, allowing diners to enjoy some of their favorite items at a low price.
This value meal includes several appetizing options, such as:
- Your choice of a McDouble® or McChicken® sandwich
- Small fries
- 4 piece Chicken McNuggets®
- Small soft drink
McDonald’s has confirmed in their latest press release that they will extend the $5 meal deal, with most local markets offering it through December.

This fall, you can also take advantage of McDonald’s “season of savings,”which features a variety of exciting deals:
- $0.50 Double Cheeseburgers on National Cheeseburger Day (Sept. 18)
- $2 McCrispy sandwich on National Fried Chicken Sandwich Day (Nov. 9)
- $1 10-pc Chicken McNuggets (Nov. 4 – Dec. 2)
- Free Fries Fridays – Includes free medium fries with any $1 minimum purchase until the end of the year.
In addition to these promotions, McDonald’s has been generating buzz this September with its upcoming release of Croc-themed Happy Meal toys.
