McDonald’s Launches Hello Kitty Collaboration with New Samurai Mac Burgers

<p>It’s hard to believe, but the iconic Sanrio character Hello Kitty is celebrating her 50th anniversary this year. To commemorate this milestone, the beloved feline has partnered with McDonald’s for a new advertisement that imparts valuable life lessons to viewers.

In her latest commercial, Hello Kitty showcases the new Samurai Burgers launched by McDonald’s Japan, featuring three thick patties and a flavorful soy sauce for an extra punch.

However, the spotlight is on Hello Kitty as she takes center stage to offer viewers insightful advice instead of focusing solely on the delicious new burgers.

In the advertisement, she amusingly finds herself stuck high in a tree after a parachute mishap. Japanese actor Masato Sakai comes to her rescue and inquires about her skydiving adventure.

“Aren’t you afraid of failure?” he asks, and she responds, “Failures are proof of challenges taken — they’re all treasures!”

She inspires viewers by saying, “Let’s do it all,” followed by a visual of the new Samurai Burgers. Starting from October 2, Japanese customers can indulge in the new Triple Thick Beef Seared Soy Sauce Samurai Mac, priced at 780 yen (approximately US$5.39).

Additionally, there’s a Double Thick Beef Seared Soy Sauce Samurai Mac with two patties, and a Thick Beef Bacon Tomato Seared Soy Sauce Samurai Mac, which includes fresh salad items. These are priced at 580 and 570 yen, respectively.
