McDonald’s will be introducing a new Collector’s Meal in the United States, which will include collectible cups featuring McDonald’s most iconic and nostalgic eras.
A grand total of six cups will be available for collection, each adorned with artistic representations of core memories spanning from the 1980s to present day.
The Collector’s Meal will include a breakfast special as well as the choice to add chicken nuggets to any meal for the remainder of the day.
Each of us has that special McDonald’s Happy Meal toy that triggers a rush of nostalgia from our childhood. And now, you can gather them all on colorful plastic cups.
The Collector’s Meal and collectible cups will be offered at participating US stores starting on August 13 for a limited time. The six available cups in the lineup are:

- The design adds a new twist to the well-loved Mattel toys, Barbie and Hot Wheels, which have always sparked our imagination.
- Beanie Babies: This cup pays tribute to the 90s craze of Teenie Beanie Babies, featuring popular characters from that era such as the Golden Arches Bear.
- Stay cool with a contemporary take on vintage Coca-Cola designs that honor legendary collaborations with McDonald’s throughout the decades.
- The Hello Kitty and Peanuts cup captures the essence of spending time with our closest friends, whether it’s relaxing at the beach or embarking on exciting adventures. It serves as a McDonald’s collectible that brings back memories of these cherished moments.
- “Featuring beloved scenes and characters from iconic film franchises such as Shrek, Jurassic Park, and Minions, this cup celebrates the collectibles that have brought joy to generations of fans.”
- McDonald’s: The Grimace Glass. Boo Buckets. Funny Fry Friends. A cup featuring the collectibles customers fell in love with from the start.
The Collector’s Meal is available at any time, allowing you to expand your collection whenever the desire strikes. The meal consists of a cup and the choice between a sausage McMuffin with egg sandwich, hash brown, and coffee during breakfast hours, or a 10-piece McNuggets or a Big Mac sandwich with fries and a soft drink throughout the rest of the day.

While McDonald’s fans are certainly eager to collect all of the cups, the company has not announced their distribution method. It remains to be seen if the cups will be distributed randomly or if each one will be released on a different date.
Fans in LA can experience a one-of-a-kind summer on August 17 from 11 am to 7 pm PT at McDonald’s Collector’s Club Poolside Paradise event, located at Santa Monica Pier. This beachside pool party will feature exclusive drinks inspired by the Collector’s Meal cups, as well as a live DJ set. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable event!
Admission to the event is granted with the presentation of a Collector’s Meal cup. Additionally, you have the option to secure a spot for general admission or a poolside cabana by reserving through Eventbrite, which will begin on August 7.
In addition to this exciting release from McDonald’s, they are currently experimenting with an Arch Burger that puts the Big Mac to shame in terms of size.
