The main voice actors for the series have also been revealed, along with a character video introducing the main heroine, Mona.

The rom-com manga series, written and illustrated by Ran Kuze, was adapted into an anime titled Medaka Kuroiwa Is Impervious to My Charms, produced by SynergySP. The author originally launched the manga in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in May 2021, and the company has since published 14 tankobon volumes.

Surprisingly, as Mona strives to win his heart, she finds herself developing feelings for Medaka. Yu Serizawa and Ryota Iwasaki, who play the roles of Mona Kawai and Medaka Kuroiwa, respectively, in the anime Medaka Kuroiwa Is Impervious to My Charms, have shared their thoughts on the show on its official website. They expressed their determination to accurately portray their characters to the best of their abilities.

In addition to the teaser PV, the official staff has also released a character video featuring Mona Kawai. The brief footage showcases Mona wearing her high school uniform and sharing her thoughts about Medaka. Undoubtedly, both of these PVs have generated more excitement for the upcoming release of the anime.

The series is being directed by Yoshiaki Okumura at SynergySP Studios, with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu overseeing and writing the scripts. Akiyuki Tateyama has been chosen as the music composer, and Mayumi Watanabe has been added to the team as the character designer.

Additional members of the staff include Noriyoshi Konuma as the sound director, Tetsuya Nishimura from Studio Elle as the compositing director of photography, Aiko Yamagami as the color designer, and Masakazu Miyake as the art director.

The anime Medaka Koroiwa Is Impervious to My Charms is adapted from Ren Kuze’s romantic comedy manga. It revolves around Mona Kawai, the most adorable girl in her school. What makes her even more interesting is her self-awareness of her own charms.

Despite Mona’s efforts, she can’t seem to understand why she can’t break through the stone-cold exterior of her classmate, Medaka Kuroiwa. However, both girls are determined and neither one is willing to give up easily. The anime effectively portrays the clash of wills between Mona and Medaka as they struggle to form a connection.
