BLACKPINK Steals the Show at Coachella 2023 with Epic K-Pop Performance
BLACKPINK’s 2023 set at Coachella has secured them the number one spot in the lineup. This will be the girl group’s second performance at the prestigious music festival.
During that period, the girl group gained widespread attention for their captivating personalities, strong presence on stage, and impressive individual performances. Their impact was so significant that Coachella was affectionately referred to as “PINKCHELLA”by both devoted K-pop followers and new fans who were introduced to BLACKPINK through their Coachella showcase.
In 2019, BLACKPINK’s performance was ranked fourth. Although they were praised for their captivating stage presence, stunning visuals, and impressive live vocals, their setlist was the only flaw: it felt too short! This was due to the fact that at the time, BLACKPINK had only released a few comebacks and Jennie was the only member who had debuted as a solo artist, resulting in a smaller repertoire of songs compared to their headlining performance in 2023.
Great job, BLACKPINK!
Fans Outraged Over LE SSERAFIM’s Disappointing Coachella Stage
LE SSERAFIM placed sixth and last in the ranking. Although the publication praised the girl group for their performance at their first global music festival, there were still some hiccups during their show.

Despite impressing the audience with their dance skills and impressive vocals, Times Now reported that the members of LE SSERAFIM appeared to be gradually losing stamina throughout their performance. This could be attributed to the high intensity of their choreography and their efforts to constantly energize the crowd.
Despite being a representative of a whole genre, LE SSERAFIM’s stage received heavy criticism from both international and Korean netizens for their subpar live vocals. Many were disappointed by the group’s shaky and unstable performance.
