A minor with an intellectual disability, who met Lee during a volunteer activity, was also a victim. The victim’s mother explained, “He said, ‘Are you very hot?’ while putting his hand under the child’s shirt and stroking their back, and also touching their buttocks.”

B, who had been living abroad, met Lee upon returning to Korea. After offering to teach B English, Lee sent sexually inappropriate text messages. B said, “He sent me messages saying that he liked sleeping in my bed, kissing me, and things like that.”

Eventually, B filed a police complaint against Lee. In July, Lee was fined 2 million won and sentenced to 40 hours of sexual violence treatment.

When asked for a statement, Lee’s representatives said they could not comment on his behalf.

The Gangseo Police Station in Seoul is conducting an investigation, believing that at least 4 individuals have been victimized, and they are working to identify more potential victims.
