Be cautious and strategize carefully, or the battle will drag on.
Black Bear Guai Habitat
At the conclusion of Chapter 1, you will engage in a mandatory battle against Black Bear Guai, the second manifestation of the self-proclaimed King. This fight is unavoidable.
The Black Wind Mountain is home to the bear at its summit.
Go beyond Black Wind cave and continue up the mountain until you arrive at Bodhi Peak.
How to beat Black Bear Guai?
During the initial stage, you will need to face the continuous attacks of Black Bear Guai. Take advantage of the intervals to inflict as much damage as possible. Once the bear’s health drops below fifty percent, it will enter a rage mode and pound the ground with its fists. Although the attacks will be similar, it is important to avoid the flames. Utilize your Wolf form to strike at opportune moments.
As soon as the fight commences, begin attacking and aim to close the distance in order to utilize a light attack combination. However, the bear will swiftly drop onto all fours and make a quick exit from the arena.
Make an effort to conserve your spells at this time. You will need to use them later.
After returning to the fight, the boss will quickly attack with a sharp swipe. Being hit by this attack will decrease your health by a third, so it is important to jump out of the way.
At the beginning of the encounter, the bear will not immediately attack but will instead start with a roar. This is your signal to move away. Even after it attacks, the bear will take a few moments to regain its composure. This is your opportunity to retaliate.
The bear will return to the arena for a second time and execute a two-strike combo. When it advances towards you, quickly dash forward to let it pass and avoid getting hit. Be aware that it will then attempt a body slam from the air, so do not stand in one place and become an easy target.
To avoid prolonging the fight, it’s best not to transform into a Wolf right away, as this will trigger its frenzied state. Instead, it’s advisable to wait until the bear’s health is significantly depleted before doing so.
When the bear pounds its fists onto the ground, causing its paws to erupt in fiery fury, it is clear that chaos is about to ensue!
The arena will be filled with geysers spouting flames. Avoid standing on them to prevent getting burned.
Whenever your health is running low, it is advisable to utilize Cloud Mist Black Myth Wukong as the bear’s powerful attacks can cause significant harm.
Despite the flames engulfing the arena, be careful of your surroundings. It may be challenging to dodge both the bear’s assaults and the fire simultaneously, but it is not completely impossible.
At this point, your usage of Immobilize will be limited to a maximum of two times. Combine it with the Guangmou Black Myth Wukong spirit to inflict significant damage.
Finally, right when it seems like the bear is reaching its breaking point, turn into a Wolf and ignite the grizzly creature. In no time, the battle will be over and resolved.
