Rumors of a 2NE1 reunion have been fueled by reports of CL meeting with YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyuk Suk.

According to sources in the entertainment industry, CL and Yang Hyun Suk reportedly reconnected on May 17 and engaged in a lengthy conversation. Multiple news sources have revealed that the meeting between the 2NE1 leader and YG Entertainment founder exceeded its expected duration, as they dined together and caught up on each other’s lives.
Despite the confidentiality of their conversation, fans speculate that it revolved around 2NE1 as they recently marked their 15th anniversary on May 17. BLACKJACKs firmly believe that their reunion was more than just a casual catch-up, especially considering CL’s strong attachment to 2NE1.
After receiving reports, YG Entertainment responded with a brief statement, declaring that they are unable to verify the specifics of the situation.
Under YG Entertainment, 2NE1 made their debut on May 17, 2009. The group, consisting of CL, Park Bom, Sandara “Dara”Park, and Gong Minzy, became an instant sensation with popular songs like “Fire,””Don’t Cry,””I Am The Best,””Ugly,”and “Hate You”topping charts and gaining widespread recognition.
Despite YG Entertainment’s statement that she left 2NE1 in May 2016, Gong Minzy has been spotted with the group multiple times since her departure from the company.
Despite officially disbanding and all members eventually parting ways with YG Entertainment, 2NE1’s final release was “Goodbye”in January 2017. The members have continued to maintain that they are still a group, despite their separation.

It had been two years since the group had last shared a photo together. In addition, other members also shared pictures of their time as a group, highlighting their strong friendship.
