Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 2’s pride and pleasure is Mega City. It has a futuristic Japanese concept and was created by Epic Games after endless hours of labor. Because there is so much to see and do there, it looks to be one of the busiest hot-drop locations on the map. Some players allege that the POI has become a desolate wasteland. Players seldom exit the Battle Bus and enter Mega City.
With how well-publicized this drop site is, this may appear unusual, but many people ascribe it to the POI’s lack of “interiors.”
“Lack of interiors kills it,” says the Fortnite community regarding Mega City.

It’s no secret that Mega City’s allure has waned. It bears witness to the preceding argument because landing there was almost impossible when Chapter 4 Season 2 initially began, as compared to how empty it is now throughout the early game.
While players from the Around area and other POIs rotate into the region, the POI nevertheless sees a lot of action during any match. This can also happen if The Storm shrinks around this POI late in the game.
Other from these instances, the only time players may be observed loitering in the region is when Highcard is vanquished. Gamers must wait for him to appear because he appears after the safe zone has been depleted.

They leave Mega City once they have defeated him, taken the vault key (and maybe Highcard’s Havoc Suppressed Rifle), and looted the vault. So, why is this the case? Because to its bad design, many Reddit users believe the POI is dull.
While Tilted Towers and Mega City have certain similarities, the latter game has more intriguing gameplay. Tilted Towers, although being a smaller POI, contains far more internal structure. Every structure was fully developed, and all floors were accessible to players. Mega City lacks this feature.
While the POI is stunning in its own right, most of the buildings lack interiors. Except from the ground/first floors and roofs, there is nothing else. The zipline may only be used by players to get from the bottom floor to the top and back again.
Some buildings do feature more than one accessible floor, but it doesn’t provide much value in the larger scheme of things. Because not all barriers can be demolished, players can only use them for concealment. Some user feedback is provided below.
As evidenced by the discussion, the first user was taken aback by the discovery of unopened chests in a POI such as Mega City. Because the majority of big POIs and iconic sites are plundered before the mid-game even begins, this is pretty strange; and it shows that people are avoiding landing in Mega City or even in the area.
The two users who come after them both mention how the lack of interiors kills the POI. It does not help that a zipline passes through it. While the ziplines lead to a roof and provide access to Grind Rails, they are insufficient to wow.
According to one user, The Daily Bugle is the best representation of what Mega City could have been. It was a popular point of interest in Fortnite Chapter 3 and was well-liked by the community. Each floor was made accessible and brimming with riches.
The finest aspect was that players could break and level the entire building if they so desired. It felt nice because the capacity to ‘create and break’ objects is a key feature of Fortnite.
Another user suggested that the creators make Mega City more “explorable.” Instead of adding accessible storeys, they may have erected a vault in the middle of the structures. Chests would have worked fine if not vaulted. This would encourage players to stay in the POI after landing.
On the other hand, arguing that Mega City would be better suited with accessible floors would result in the POI having too much treasure. Also, as with the Daily Bugle in Fortnite Chapter 3, entire structures can be demolished and toppled.
Although not necessarily disastrous, it would be inconvenient and catastrophic for those unable to rotate to safety. Yet, given that “building and breaking” are key to Fortnite gameplay, this seems plausible.
Will Epic Games alter the way Mega City works in Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 2?
The Mega City will possibly expand more throughout Season 2 as the version we've currently got is very different to that showed by Epic in trailers. #FortniteMEGA #Fortnite pic.twitter.com/EIVHM2Dwgn

Even if they wanted to make these changes, the time and materials required would make it difficult. Because POIs are constructed months in advance, there is no ability to make changes promptly.
Mega City is likely to increase in response to the planned improvements, but accessibility will remain unchanged. Apart for a few new regional structures, little else will change in the traditional sense.
Having stated that, players have two possibilities. They can either ‘hot-drop’ into Mega City and plunder until it’s time to rotate, or they can land at POIs like Anvil Square and Breakwater Bay to engage in combat with opponents. While these aren’t ideal solutions to the ‘issue,’ they are the best option for the time being.
