Mega Mawile Raid Day in Pokemon Go: Date, Tickets, and Additional Details

Niantic has officially announced that Mega Mawile will make its debut in Pokémon Go with a special Raid Day, featuring new bonuses and a paid ticket option.

The Pokémon franchise includes numerous Mega Evolutions, and since the feature was introduced to Pokémon Go, nearly all of them have been incorporated into Niantic’s mobile game.

One of the remaining Mega Evolutions was Mega Mawile, which will finally be available during its own dedicated Raid Day event, allowing trainers to battle the Steel/Fairy-type Pokémon in Mega Raids. Here are all the key details.

Mega Mawile Raid Day: Date & Time

The Mega Mawile Raid Day event is scheduled for Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.

During this period, Mega Mawile will debut in Pokémon Go and will appear more frequently in Mega Raids, including higher chances of encountering a Shiny version.

After successfully battling this formidable Pokémon, trainers will have the opportunity to catch regular Mawile and receive Mega Energy to trigger its Mega Evolution.

Pokémon Go Mega Mawile Raid Day: Event Bonuses

Trainers can benefit from the following bonuses during Mega Mawile’s Raid Day:

Mega Mawile will appear more frequently in Mega Raids.
Increased chances of encountering Shiny Mawile.
The Remote Raid limit will be raised to 20 from Friday, October 11, 2024, at 5:00 PM PDT until Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 8:00 PM PDT.
Get up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.

Event Tickets for Mega Mawile Raid Day

Pokémon Go players can purchase a ticket for the main event to gain access to exclusive bonuses.

The Pokémon Go Mega Mawile Raid Day ticket costs US$ 5 (or equivalent pricing for your region), providing trainers with the following benefits:

Eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs.
Increased chance to obtain Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles.
50% more XP from Raid Battles.
2x Stardust from Raid Battles.

These bonuses will be active during the Pokémon Go Mega Mawile event, which runs on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM local time.

During Mega Mawile’s Raid Day, an Ultra Ticket Box will be available for purchase, priced at US$ 4.99 (or equivalent pricing for your region).

Note that this offer will be available in the web store three days prior to its release in the in-game shop, starting on October 7, 2024, at 10:00 AM PDT.
