Sohee, a member of ALICE, has recently revealed her plans to retire from the entertainment industry in preparation for her upcoming marriage to her boyfriend, a businessman who is 15 years her senior. Sohee, who was born in 1999, is currently 26 years old while her fiancé is in his 40s.
Upon the agency’s announcement of Sohee’s upcoming marriage and retirement following the end of her contract, she took to her social media account to share her thoughts. In her heartfelt post, she expressed how grateful she was to have found someone who has been a tremendous source of support. She also revealed that they have grown to become incredibly important to each other, and she has happily agreed to marry him. She stated that she is now looking forward to starting a new chapter in her life as Kim So-hee, leaving behind her identity as ALICE’s Sohee.
Sohee joined the entertainment industry as a member of the group ALICE in 2017 and has since released multiple albums. In 2020, she also took on a role as an actress in the TVing drama ‘Duty After School.’ However, she made the decision to depart from the industry a month before her contract with her agency was due to expire.
After Alice Sohee announced her retirement from the entertainment industry and her marriage, it was revealed that Nature’s Haru had taken a job at a hostess bar in Japan. In a Tiktok video for the bar, Haru introduced herself as “Sakura Lulu,”a former K-pop idol who had been in the industry since she was 18 years old. She explained that she was now working as a receptionist in order to save money for her dream of opening a dance studio.
Following the video’s surge in popularity, Haru took to Instagram to address the situation, stating, “I have been receiving only criticism on social media, but I am steadfastly pursuing my goals in life. I kindly ask for your understanding and support.”
A day after, n.CH Entertainment, the management company of Nature, declared its dissolution. One member will stay with the agency and carry on her pursuits, while the rest of the members will depart from the agency.
