Although the initial Rank of your Seeker bond with More becomes available as you progress through the main storyline, the subsequent ranks are only accessible upon completing specific Research quests assigned by the mysterious resident of Akademeia.

Each of these quests is linked to the various Archetypes found in the game. Some tasks may necessitate the unlocking of a specific Archetype, while others will require you to enhance your level with a certain Archetype before More is ready to take your relationship to the next phase.

By completing these challenges, you will unlock powerful passive abilities and buffs, including the valuable insight into the skills that each Bond provides as you progress through their ranks.

Below is a list of every Research Quest, along with tips on how to complete them efficiently.

More’s Task: Foreword and Prologue Level the Healer Archetype to Rank 10. You can access the Healer Archetype after forming a Bond with Maria during the main story, and it can be rapidly ranked up using Hero’s Incense and Hero’s Fruit. The first major dungeon features enemies vulnerable to its Light-based magic, making it ideal for experience grinding.
More’s Task Chapter 1: Ordeal Gain access to the Gunner Archetype. This Archetype becomes available after completing the Providing a Spark side quest for your Gun Runner pilot, Neuros, which involves a trip to Komero for a Relic from an old mentor. Once you deliver this Relic, his Bond is established, allowing you to study Gunner in Akademeia.
More’s Task Chapter 2: Solitude Unlock the Merchant Archetype and elevate its rank to 15. The Merchant Archetype is connected to Brigitta, requiring your Intelligence Royal Virtue to reach level 2 for Bond formation. You can quickly boost the Merchant’s rank using Hero’s Incense, Fruit, Leaf of Light, or Jeweled Roots.
More’s Task Chapter 3: Drifting Unlock and Study 15 different Archetypes. This includes Archetypes from the same line (e.g., Seeker, Magic Seeker) as well as those obtained through your Party Members, which makes it easier if you wait until you have a larger group. Aim to reach at least the fourth rank for all your Followers with an Adept Archetype ability to unlock additional Archetypes and meet your quota efficiently.
More’s Task Chapter 4: Turmoil Study and level the General Archetype to 15. This Archetype is part of the Commander series, unlocked through the Bardon relationship path. Continue progressing through the main story until you locate the Bounty target in Martira, then return to converse with him after reaching the third major city. Strengthen your Bond until it reaches fourth rank, unlocking the General, which can then be leveled up to 20 quickly using Hero’s Incense, Fruit, Leaf of Light, and Jeweled Roots.
More’s Task Chapter 5: Resolve Unlock and study 25 different Archetypes. This again encompasses Archetypes from the same line and those from your party members, removing the need to unlock all with one character. Given the sizable requirement, waiting until you have most of your party members unlocked and enhancing your Royal Virtues is advisable to expedite the process.
More’s Task Chapter 6: The End Max out the rank of at least one Elite Archetype. You should have the Soul Hacker Archetype available to study and equip, so utilize items such as Hero’s Leaf of Light or Hero’s Jeweled Root to increase its rank to 20. If you have limited items, enter any dungeon, equip a maxed-out Archetype, and defeat enemies to convert surplus experience into Hero’s Leaf of Lights.

Optimal Answers for More’s Conversations

As you fulfill tasks for More in Metaphor ReFantazio, engaging in conversations with him can yield extra Magla. The quality of your response directly affects the amount of Magla you earn.

Luckily, you don’t have to worry about finding the exact right response. Generally, answers that convey concern for More, express trust, or demonstrate commitment to your joint research will yield the highest Magla rewards. If you see one or two Magla triangles in tense exchanges, three in ordinary chats, and four in cheerful conversations or the concluding dialogue, you can be assured you’ve chosen well.

It’s important to note that these conversational exchanges, unlike other Atlus titles, do not influence the progression of your relationship with More. The Seeker Bond’s enhancement relies solely on completing the mentioned quests, and other responses won’t affect your ability to reach the highest rank.

Beyond this, we have no further insights regarding the relationship with More and how to achieve the max rank of the Seeker Bond in Metaphor ReFantazio.
