According to a boxing legend who has been in a similar situation, Mike Tyson has been predicted to knock Jake Paul “into next week”in their highly anticipated match in November.
Despite the announcement of a fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, critics continue to comment on the significant age difference between them. At 27 years old, Jake is 31 years younger than the 58-year-old boxing legend, who has not competed since 2020.
Despite their initial fight date of July 20 being cancelled due to the former heavyweight champion’s ulcer flare-up, they were able to reschedule their match at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas for November 15.
Despite ongoing criticism regarding the age gap, former boxing champion Ricky ‘Hitman’ Hatton has now offered his opinion on the matter.
Hatton, who is 45 years old, mentioned that he has been in a similar situation as Mike. He came out of retirement at the age of 44 to compete against Marco Antonio Barrera.
According to the former light-welterweight champion who spoke to Action Network, Mike’s punch is so powerful that it could knock someone into the middle of next week. Hatton also commented on Mike’s physical appearance, stating that he looks fantastic for his age and is still very fast and explosive. However, he believes that Jake’s corner should focus on trying to tire Mike out during the fight.

Hatton also referred to Jake as somewhat of a “jerk”and challenged his statement that he would force Mike into retirement. “You’re suggesting that you’re going to make a 58-year-old man retire. I wouldn’t want to fight anyone at that age,”he stated.
The former YouTuber, now a professional boxer, has been extremely self-assured in his belief that he can defeat Mike. Despite this, his mother is expressing great fear towards the upcoming fight.
