Despite his age and an ulcer flare-up, boxing legend Mike Tyson remains unfazed about his health in the weeks leading up to his fight with Jake Paul.
Mike Tyson is venturing into the realm of influencer boxing as he gets ready for his bout against popular YouTuber Jake Paul on November 15, 2024.
As the night of the fight approaches, the discussion about which boxer will emerge victorious intensifies. While some followers of combat sports argue that Tyson’s extensive experience will trump Paul’s youthful vigor, others express concern about the physical well-being of the 58-year-old champion due to his age.
Despite this, Tyson remains unfazed. As one of the most iconic figures in boxing, he has always been a fearless risk-taker, a characteristic he discussed in a recent interview with Fox40.
Jake Paul and Mike Tyson have been fans of each other for years – and now, they finally get to face off in the boxing ring.
“He expressed his excitement for this experience, stating that it is something that truly sparks his passion and gives him a sense of purpose. This is his chance to pursue his own desires and ignore any outside expectations or opinions. Tyson has consistently expressed his belief in himself numerous times in the past few months. His former sparring partner has also stated that the champ will probably hold back against Jake in order to prevent causing serious harm to the YouTuber.
Despite Tyson’s ulcer flare-up on a flight, Jake remains just as confident in him and has chosen not to have a backup fighter in case of a cancellation. The fight between the two was originally planned for July 2024 but has now been postponed to November.
